Programs in Senegal to Commemorate Imam Khomeini’s Demise Anniversary
The Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Senegal is to hold various programs on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s demise, The Public Relations of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization reported.
Included among these programs are four workshops to be held on June 3 on “Imam Khomeini’s Ideas regarding Politics and Secularism”, “Imam Khomeini and Human Rights”, “Imam Khomeini and Women’s Issues”, and “Imam Khomeini and Social Issues”.
Religious, scientific and cultural scholars in different fields are scheduled to deliver lectures in the workshops.
On June 3, Iran’s cultural Center in Senegal will also hold a ceremony in cooperation with Senegalese scientific, political, cultural, social and religious authorities to mark Imam Khomeini’s 20th demise anniversary.
