Hazrat-e Imam Khomeini’s consciousness and Knowledge not only played an essential role in neutralizing the enemies’ plots but also put the revolution in its main path and prepared a ground for another revolution. The collapse of espionage den (the U.S embassy) unveiled the nature of U.S and it was the second revolution for Iranian people.
“…a country with 20 million youth must have 20 million riflemen or the military with 20 million soldiers; such a country will never be destroyed…”
The determined Iranian people who adored the revolution and its honorable aims gathered in mosques assigned as the position for mobilization to defend the revolutionary achievements.Their first experience, which had a significant role in serving the revolution and its Divine goals, was to aid the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and Committees to encounter and neutralize domestic opponents’ plots.The Iraq’s military invasion in Shahrivar 1358,(September 1979) strengthened this belief for the more effective formation of popular forces. As a result, more people joined the mobilization (Basij) to take part in operations such as “ Tariq-ul Qods”, “ Hasr-e Abadan”, “Fath-ul Mobin”’ “Samen-ul A’emeh”, and …
Today that we have the fortune to maintain our Islamic nation and country against the enemies is due to the national widespread presence in the Mobilization. Our Islamic revolution leader “Imam Khomeini” stated:
“Divine mercy and blessings be upon the Mobilization of oppressed who are the real supporters of the revolution”.
The aim for the establishment of the Mobilization of oppressed was to strengthen all the believers of Constitution and the goal of Islamic revolution for defending the country, the Islamic Republic order, also to aid the authorities at the time of unexpected events, …etc. The Mobilization is a Divine position, the place for training Man, and the place of love and sincerity.
THE WOMEN’S PARTICIPATION IN MOBILIZATION (BASIJ)
According to the Islamic school of thought, Jihad (the holy war) is among the secondary cases and it is also one of the obligations upon which the firmness of the religion is depended because it will account for the independence and the promotion of the Islamic society. It also gives rise to their respect before the other nations and the invaders. Therefore; since defending in each Islamic society has an public account and also since it paves the ground for practicing the obligations, then the Muslims both men and women should do their best at the time of training and maintaining the defensive abilities.Hence the Muslim women must be always prepared to defend in the different fields of military, and etc. In this way the military training of women was started and it was further clarified during Imam’s words held on the occasion of Hazrat-e Zahra’s (SA) birthday anniversary:“ Hazrat-e Zahra (SA) was standing against the then-governments. You should follow her policy so that you can appreciate the day of women. If you accept it you should defend Islam whether in the battle or the science field. For; Islam is among the most important affairs to every man, woman and the other individual with the different years of age. Of course the environment within which you are going to be military trained must follow the principles of righteousness.The women’s mobilization center is dealing with employing the women as well as training and organizing them. It has also taken effective measures in the different fields of military, first aids, ideological issues, and training the illiterate people.
Too; it is worthy to mention that the women were actively involved far way from the fronts and they did their best for preparing the provisions of the Islamic combatants.
