Critorion for friendship

Imam Sadiq (A.S) said: If you find these two attributes in a person, that person is a good person, otherwise stay away from a person who does not possess these attributes. First: He/she performs Salaat (obligatory prayers) on time and is steadfast on this. Second: Helping others. In last hours of his blessed life, Imam Sadiq (A.S) advised all those close to him by saying: Our intercession will not reach a person who does not pay appropriate attention to Salaat.
