“Nader and Simin” to premiere in Germany

“Nader and Simin: A Separation” won the Golden Bear for the best film at the recent edition of Berlin film festival and the cast ensemble received the best actor and actress Silver Bears at the event.

The film starring, Leila Hatami and Shahab Hosseini, “Nader and Simin: A Separation” tells the story of a couple who are getting a divorce, but the tutorship of their child is causing a dilemma.

The movie was also invited to go on screen at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, which will be held from March 20 to April 5.

The Hollywood Reporter has predicted that Berlin’s big winner “Nader and Simin” is expected to turn up in next year’s foreign language category at the Oscars.
