Photo exhibitions depicting Imam Khomeini’s life to open in June

 

    -Photo exhibitions showing scenes from the life of Imam Khomeini will open at the four entrances to the Imam’s shrine in Tehran on June 5, which is the anniversary of his death.

The photos will showcase many important events in his life, including his time in exile and his return to Iran. A further thirty provincial exhibits will also open for the occasion. “5000-Year Manifestation of Iran” exhibit opens in Rome

 

   - An exhibition of Iranian artworks was opened yesterday at the National Museum of Eastern Art, Rome.

Miniatures painted by Mohammad-Baqer Aqamiri, calligraphy works by Kamran Hosseinpur, women’s costumes, and pieces of jewelry from various Iranian tribes, have been put on display.

The exhibit will continue until June 24. -Rafael Minaskanian to give piano concert in Niavaran

 

   - Iranian Rafael Minaskanian is to give a solo piano concert at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center on May 25.

He is to play pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, and Melik Aslanian.

Minaskanian is currently teaching at universities in Tehran.
