The Sixth Infallible - Hazrat Imam Zain Ul Abidin

During the period of the second caliph "Ummer" Iran was conquered by the Muslims. The daughters of Yazdgard the king of Iran , were brought to Medina.
All had gathered in the mosque of Medina to see what the decision of the caliph was , about them. He wanted to sell them but Ali (A.S.) stopped him from doing so and said to Ummer , "leave the girls free so that they marry whosoever they wish."
One of the girls chose Hussain ibn-e Ali (A.S.) and the other chose Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.).
Ali (A.S.) said to Hussain , "Look after this woman very well , because , she will give birth to an Imam who will be the best of God"s creations upon earth and the father of all the Imams (after himself).
Not very long after that , the child was born , on Thursday , the 5th of Shaaban , 38th Hijrah , in Medina. He was named "Ali" and later entitled as Zain ul Abidin and Sajjad.
Piety and righteousness: One of the special qualities of Imam"s character was his piety and righteousness. Imam Jaffar Sadiq (A.S.) said "Ali Ibn ul Hussain (A.S.) resembled Ali (P.B.U.H.) in demeanour , more than all the other sons of Bani Hashem".
His son Imam Mohammad Baqir (A.S.) said , "One day I happened to see my father I saw him completely engaged and thoroughly pre occupied in the prayers , with all his attention towards God. His colour was faded and his eyes were sore and red due to weeping , his feet were swollen because of prostration and his legs , and knees had developed corns. I said humbly "Oh father , why have you become so captivated by the prayers and have put yourself in such an inconvenience and discomfort. My father wept and said , "Oh son no matter how much praising and praying I perform it is still not much as compared to the prayers of your grandfather , "Ali ibn-e Abi Talib."
Taous Yamni says , "I saw Imam lying in prostration saying , "Oh God your needy servent , is in your house waiting for your blessing , forgiveness and favour.
Imam Zain ul Abidin (A.S.) , like his grandfather , used to cultivate land and palm trees. He would offer two Rakats of prayer near each palm tree. During the prayers he would get himself so absorbed that he did not have any attention towards anything except God.
He traveled to Mecca , on foot , twenty times. He would recite the Quran for people and guide and conduct them by defining and describing its verses.
