Jame Atiq Mosque

The ancient jame’ atiq mosque of shiraz is one of the oldest mosques in iran and a relic of the days of the saffarid amr bin leys’s reign. it has been restored many times. the height of the building and its various nocturnal areas (shabestans) with beautiful tile work on the ceilings, gives a unique charm to this place.
