u.s. president, barack obama

U.S. President, Barack Obama has defended the recent agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the 5+1 group, and has emphasized that efforts are underway to reach “a final agreement”‌ with Iran.

According to an Agence France Presse (AFP) report, Barack Obama defended his nuclear diplomacy with Iran, speaking to an audience of Israeli diplomats and senior members of a pro-Zionist lobby group in Washington.  During his speech, Obama also emphasized America’s commitment to the Israeli regime’s security.

Speaking to a predominantly pro-Zionist audience at the White House, on the occasion of Hanukkah, a Jewish holiday, Barack Obama told the audience:  “It is important for America to continue with its efforts to reach a final agreement with regards to Iran’s nuclear program”‌.

Defending the Geneva accord between Iran and the 5+1 group Obama added: “The agreement is good for the world, and it is good for Israel”‌.

Barack Obama also reaffirmed America‘s “Iron-clad commitment to Israel’s security”‌.

Obama’s defence of the nuclear accord stands in sharp contrast with the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu’s description of the nuclear accord as “a historic mistake”‌.
