Iranian film warmly received in Canada
Iranian actor and filmmaker Rambod Javan’s latest comedy No Men Allowed has been warmly received in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver.
Javan’s film won great acclaim after it hit Canadian movie theaters from October 14, ISNA reported.
”The film has been screened at the Empire Theatre of Toronto for nine days and has been warmly received.” said the film’s project manager Manijeh Hekmat.
She further added that the film is presented with English subtitles to effectively convey its message to the Canadian audience.
No Men Allowed was well received by both Iranian and Canadian film lovers, encouraging organizers to schedule an extra two-week screening program.
Javan’s production is a comedy recounting the events which occur after a male teacher begins working at a girls' high school with a feminist principal.
