Leader: Future belongs to Islam
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, pointed to the Iranian nation’s steadfastness against the plots of the enemy and said, ”The Islamic Republic of Iran stands resolutely before the oppressors and won’t step back.”
According to IRIB World Service, on the recent allegations by the US against the Islamic Republic of Iran, he told a huge public gathering in Gilan-e Gharb city on the fourth day of his visit to the western province of Kermanshah Saturday: ”The enemy is trying in vain to isolate Iran through stepped up Iranophobia, but as in the past, it won’t gain any result except increasing the hatred of world nations towards the American regime and making the world people more interested in the upright stances of the Iranian nation.”
The leader of the Islamic Revolution called the recent ballyhoo of the Zionist-controlled media on Iran’s alleged support to terrorism as a part of the frenzied conspiracies of agents of Global Arrogance, ”By resorting to absurd allegations against some Iranians they directed their politicized propaganda tirade against the Islamic Republic of Iran but this plot will also bear no fruit; and to their chagrin, it will backfire, leading to their own further isolation.”
Referring to the spread of the Wall Street Occupy movement to different US cities, he addressed the American officials saying, ”You are isolated among your own nation and you are afraid of the majority of your people; then how come you indulge in more Iranophobia with useless words?
Elsewhere in his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei praised the Iranian nation’s steadfastness, and pointed to other nations’ enthusiasm and support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, adding, ”in contrast to this ever-increasing worldwide enthusiasm for Iran, US officials are left with a dwindling minority of advocates – perhaps a one percent- and this reflects the reality of the dignified status of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
He noted that the Islamic Uprising is spreading by the day in the strategic North Africa-West Asia region, and said, ”The future belongs to Islam and the banner of Islam will Insha Allah be hoisted all over the region, as a core of powerful, unified and dignified nations take shape.”
