Iranian cultural figures visiting Lebanon
TEHRAN -- A group of Iranian cultural figures gathered at the tomb of Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyeh in Beirut on Friday and paid tribute to the martyrs of the 33-day Lebanese resistance against the Israeli attacks.
Mughniyeh was martyred February 12, 2008 in a car bombing in the Syrian capital Damascus.
The delegation also visited head of Hezbollah Executive Council Seyyed Hashem Safieddin and expressed their willingness to establish a united association for artists in the world of Islam.
Singer Muhammad Golriz, poet Behruz Qezelbash, writers Samira Aslanpur and Reza Rasuli are some of the members of the delegation.
