Iranian children’s theater festival announces winners
The winners of the 17th International Theater Festival for Children and Young Adults was announced during a ceremony at Ibn Sina Hall in Hamedan on Sunday.
The ceremony was attended by several artists and officials including the Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Hamid Shahabadi.
The following is a list of winners in the National Section:
“Radish” from Qom province, “The Hunter and the Bird” from Tehran and “The Curious Voyage of the Clown” from Arak were selected as the best plays in the section.
Best Director: Samad Azarkhash for “Radish”.
Best Actor: Hassan Purmehdi for “The Nice Desire of Rana”.
Best Actress: Samaneh Sepanta for “Radish”.
Best playwright: Reza Yunesfard for “The Curious Voyage of the Clown”.
Best Costume Designer: Mehdi Nikravesh for “Radish”.
Best Stage Designer: Ahmad Nejatpanah for “Lost”.
Best Music Composer: Hamed Jahanbakhsh for “Radish”.
The following is a list of winners in the International Section:
Best Playwright: Bärbel Maier for “Sultan and Kotzbrocken” (a joint production of Iran and Germany).
Best Actor: Hutan Shakiba for “The Story of an Apple Which Flies away”.
Best Actress: Anali Shakuri for “Sultan and Kotzbrocken”.
Costume Designer: Gabi Kinscherf for “Sultan and Kotzbrocken”.
Music Composer: Vandan Massahzadeh for “The Story of an Apple Which Flies away”.
