Ahmadinejad unveils 2 books on Persian Gulf
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad unveiled two illustrated books on the Persian Gulf, namely, ‘Atlas of Persian Gulf’ and ‘Issues and States’.
‘Atlas of Persian Gulf’, one of the writers of which is Ptolemy, underlines the name of Persian Gulf.
‘Issues and States’, written by Abu Eshaq Estakhri has referred to it as the Persian Sea. It contains some 20 maps, one of which pertains to the Persian Gulf.
