آن به که در این زمانه کم گیری دوست
با اهل زمانه صحبت از دور نکوست
آنکس که به زندگی ترا تکیه بر اوست
چون چشم خرد باز کنی دشمنت اوست
Nowadays, it is better to choose only a few friends,
With people, it is better to keep aloof.
The One you consider the Guardian of your life
Is your Enemy, if seen through the eyes of reason.
