Spain publishes Nezami's 'Leyli and Majnoun'

an azeri folk art based on nezamis leyli and majnoun

Spain has published the Spanish version of Leyli and Majnoun, one of the classics of Persian poetry by Nezami Ganjavi.

The work has been translated by Muhammad Kangarani, a PhD student at the University of Salamanca, and has recently been published by Ediciones Sigueme publishing company.

Associate Professor of the University of Salamanca Alberto Cantera Glera has written an introduction to the book, IRNA reported.

The romantic poem of Leyli and Majnun was composed by the 12th-century Persian poet, Nezami, based on a popular Arab legend of ill-starred lovers.
