Praise & Eulogy is for Allah who hears the conversation of who so ever talks and if he remains silent (then) He knows whatever is there in his interior (soul). And who ever lives , his sustenence is upon Allah & who so ever dies his resurrection is with Allah. (BIHAR UL ANWAR , VOL 78 , P 112)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) اَلحُمًدلِله الذي من تَكَلمُ سمع كَلامُهُ و منْ سُكَتَ علٍمُ ما في نَفْسٍهٍ و منْ عاشَ فَعُلَيهٍ رزْقُهُ وَ مُنً ماتَ فاٍلَيهٍ مُعادُهُ… (بحار الانوار ج78ص112)
Oh my son! do not become the companion of anyone (& dont befriend) but when you come to know about the places he comes & goes to (visits). And after you have minutely observed (his character) & got pleased with his association & social conduct then acquire his company , on the basis of forgiving the faults & (extending) consolation during the hardships. (TUHFUL AQOOL , P 233)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) يا بُنَيَّ لا تُواخِ اَحَداً حَتّي تَعْرِفَ مَوارِدَهُ وَ مَصادِرَهُ فِاِذَا اسْتَنْبَطْتَ الْخبْرَهَ وَ رَضيتَ الْعِشْرَهَ فَاخِهِ عَلي اقالَةِ الْعَثْرَهِ وَ الْموُاساةِ فيِ الْعُسْرَةِ (تحف العقول ص233)
The most sighting eye is the one which penetrates (veiws) into the blessings & beneficiences.And the most auditory ear is the one which takes in (comprehends & retains) admonition , & gets benefitted by it.The healthiest of hearts is the heart which is pure from doubts. (TUHFUL AQOOL , P 235)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) اِنَّ اَبْصَرَ اْلاَبْصارِ ما نَفَذَ فيِ الْخَيْرِ مَذْهَبُهُ وَ اَسْمَعَ الاسْماعِ ما وَعَي التَْذْكيرَ وَ انتفَعَ بِهِ اَسْلَمُ القلوب مَا طَهُرَ مِنَ الشُّبُهاتِ (تحف العقول ص235)
A person asked him" , what is fear?" He said , "to have courage upon friend & recoiling from the enemy." (TUHFUL AQOOL , P 225)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) قيلَ فَمَا الْجُبْنُ قالَ الْجُراةُ عَلَي الصَّديقِ وَ النُّكُولُ عَنِ الْعَدُوِّ (تحف العقول ص225)
Do not make haste in punishing the sinner for his sin & let a way (passage) beween the two (fault & punishment) excuse & appology. (BIHAR UL ANWAR , VOL 78 , P 113)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) لا تُعاجِلِ الذَّنْبَ بِالعُقُوبَةِ وَ اجْعَلْ بَيْنَهُما لِلاْعْتِذارِ طَريقاً (بحار الانوار ج 78 ص113)
All the beneficienes of both the worlds come to the hand & are achieved by the mind (wits). (BIHAR UL ANWAR , VOL 78 , P 111)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) بالْعَقْلِ تُدْرَكُ الدّارانِ جَميعاً (بحار الانوار ج78ص111)
There is no poverty like the ignorance. (BIHAR UL ANWAR , VOL 78 , P 111)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) لافَقْرَ مِثْلُ الْجَهْلِ (بحار الانوار ج78ص111)
Teach others your knowledge & learn the knowledge of others so you will bring your knowledge to perfection and learn something which you do not know. (BIHAR UL ANWAR , VOL 78 , P 111)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) عَلَّمِ النّاسَ علِْمَكَ وَ تَعَلَّمْ عِلْمَ غَيْرِكَ فَتَكُونَ قَدْ اَتْقَنْتَ عِلْمَكَ اوَعَلِمْتَ ما لَمْ تَعْلَمْ (بحار الانوار ج78ص111)
A person asked him , "What is generosity & magnanimity" He replied , "To secure & protect the religion , & respecting ones soul , (self respect) and softness of conduct (gentleness in behaviour) & permenancy of favour & kindness & the discharging of rights. (BIHAR UL ANWAR , VOL 78 , P 102)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) قيلَ فَما الْمُرُوُّةُ ؟ قالَ حَفْظُ الدّينِ و اِعْزازُ النَّفّْسِ وَ لينَُ الّْكَنَفِ و تَعُهُّدُ الصََّنيعَةِ وَ اَداءُ الْحُقُوقِ (بحار الانوار ج78ص102)
I have not seen a crue! one more similar & resembling with an oppressed & wronged one than the jealous. (BIHAR UL ANWAR , VOL 78 , P 111)
قال حسن بن علي(ع) ما رَايْت ظاِلماً اَشَََْبََِه بِمَظْلُومٍ مِنْ حاسِدٍ (بحار الانوار ج78ص111)
